APN

Methodology & standards

This directory is a practical starting point, not a certification of every listed organisation or tool. APN publishes the method and the gaps so you can judge how much weight to place on an entry.

Sourcing & register review

Entries are collected from public sources, deduplicated and reviewed for relevance and a usable destination before they enter the public register. Publication is not an endorsement, proof of quality, or a guarantee that every detail is current.

Source-verification and jurisdiction metadata are still being normalised across the register, so the public cards do not turn those incomplete fields into endorsements or location claims. Confirm critical details, eligibility and current contact information on the service's official website before acting.

Urgent and sensitive pathways pin established national services ahead of related register results. APN is not an emergency service; call 000 if there is immediate danger.

Link health

APN uses periodic link checks and correction reports to find broken or superseded destinations. Automated checks can be delayed, blocked or wrong, so a published link is not a promise that the destination is live at this moment. Report a problem and APN will review the record.

Our labels

Public cards show an amber or red caution only when the register carries one. A green internal value is not displayed as a public recommendation. The absence of a caution badge is not an endorsement, professional advice or a guarantee.

Independence

We never accept payment to list, rank, or favour a resource. Sponsorship keeps the directory free and is always disclosed; sponsors have no influence over content. We do not run ads in the listings.

Tell us if we're wrong

Accuracy matters more than completeness. If a number, link, or detail is wrong or out of date, please tell us and we'll review it promptly.
